Cruize Hodge, a 28-year-old man from Indianapolis, Indiana, was found lying in the road with gunshot wounds on the morning of February 25, 2025. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Oakland Avenue, near Southeastern Avenue, just before 5:45 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Hodge suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced dead.
