Rasheen James Lovett Jr., a young African American man in his 20s, was fatally shot on the night of February 21, 2025, in Savannah, Georgia. The incident occurred near Live Oak and 39th Streets, where law enforcement responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Lovett Jr. with at least one gunshot wound.
