Kelvin Ansari, a 50-year-old African American male, died on May 11, 2019, in Savannah, Georgia. Ansari, a veteran police sergeant with the Savannah Police Department, was responding to a robbery when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred as Ansari and another officer approached a vehicle suspected to be involved in the robbery.
