In the late spring of 2024, the life of a young man from Claxton, Georgia, was cut tragically short in the nearby city of Savannah. Cinsere Siromeo Ward, a 23-year-old Black/African American male, passed away on May 18, 2024. Though his roots were in Claxton, the circumstances of his death unfolded in Savannah.
