In the early morning hours of a Saturday in Savannah, Georgia, the life of 41-year-old Benny Wright was tragically cut short. On March 8, 2025, Wright was shot on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries, a victim of gun violence.
