On the morning of March 30, 2025, 36-year-old Douglas Machado Coka, a Brazilian male residing in Conyers, Georgia, was found deceased in the backyard of a residence near Hurst Road and McDaniel Mill Road. Deputies from the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a person shot at approximately 8:50 AM and discovered Mr. Coka's body with a single gunshot wound.
