On July 25, 2023, Franklin Campbell, a 40-year-old resident of Conyers, Georgia, lost his life to gun violence. The incident occurred at a residence located on Highway 212 SW in Rockdale County.
According to the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office, Campbell was found shot in the stomach. Following the discovery, a resident of the home where the shooting took place was brought in for questioning. After reviewing footage from the area, the authorities identified a suspect and made an arrest.
