In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Omaha, Nebraska, the life of 17-year-old DMarco Pope, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On June 16, 2013, at approximately 1:23 a.m., the sound of multiple gunshots pierced the night in the area of 2254 Saratoga Street, prompting a police response to a ShotSpotter activation.
