In the heart of South Omaha, a life was cut short in a sudden act of violence that left a family searching for answers. On the afternoon of March 10, 2015, Corey Shannon Hudson, a 44-year-old White/Caucasian male, was found in an alley near 18th and U Streets with a fatal gunshot wound.
