In the quiet neighborhood of Kimberton in Brookside, Delaware, the afternoon of March 16, 2025, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Jahliel Jackson, a 19-year-old Black / African American male, was fatally shot in a sudden act of violence that stunned the typically peaceful community. Residents reported hearing multiple gunshots in quick succession around 3 p.m. near Clarion Court and Durham Court.
