James Quezada-Davis, a 37-year-old Hispanic male, left his job at an AutoZone in Denver, Colorado, on the night of December 13, 2024, expecting to return home to his girlfriend and family. He was a father to three children and was known for his generous spirit and outgoing personality, a man who could make anyone laugh and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.
Having grown up in Denver's Northside, he was a familiar and beloved member of his community, the youngest of five siblings.
Tragically, he never made it home. At approximately 10:30 p.m., near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and North Cherry Street, James was fatally shot. The Denver Police Department responded to the incident, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
