When he did not return, she went to look for him and made the devastating discovery. He was transported to Denver Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
Erik McAllister was a father to three young sons: Fabian, Mickey, and Dean. He was remembered by his family as a loving husband and father. In his professional life, he was the lead singer for the Denver-based band Vanadium in the mid to late 2000s and worked as a traffic control supervisor, managing a large team of employees.
