A preschool teacher is shot and killed while leaving a nightclub
Janeé Hadan, 24, a Black woman, was out with friends in the early hours of December 15, 2013, when gunfire erupted outside Passion Lounge near 108th and Q Streets on Omaha’s southwest side. Police were called to Roxbury Plaza shortly before 2 a.m.; Hadan was struck as shots rang out in the parking lot, and two men—identified as 30-year-old Gary Lockett and 23-year-old Brandon Patterson—were also wounded.
