On the early morning of May 10, 2025, 18-year-old Hispanic male Alexander Gonsalez from Arvin, California, was fatally shot alongside 19-year-old Jesus Amezcua Martinez in a residential neighborhood on Bautista Street. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m., prompting multiple emergency calls reporting gunfire.
