On January 21, 2024, at approximately 9:46 p.m., 31-year-old Adrian Avila was fatally shot at the intersection of Walnut Drive and Sycamore Road in Arvin, California. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but Avila was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

The Kern County Coroner's Office conducted a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause and manner of death. The Arvin Police Department launched an investigation into the shooting; however, as of now, no arrests have bee ...
