In the early morning hours of January 3rd, 2025, Phoenix police were called to the area near Camelback Road and 40th Avenue, where they discovered the body of 20-year-old Said Abdikadir. The young man had been fatally shot inside a vehicle. Another male victim, who had been dropped off at a local hospital the previous evening, was also linked to the shooting incident.
