On a Tuesday evening in Mesa, Arizona, the lives of two families were irrevocably shattered by an act of domestic violence that culminated in a tragic murder-suicide. The events of February 11, 2025, unfolded at the Colores del Sol Apartments on East McKellips Road, leaving 34-year-old Ramon Salazar dead and a community in shock. Salazar, a Hispanic male, was at the apartment complex when the Mesa Police Department began receiving calls about shots being fired shortly before 7:30 p.m.
