Michael McKenzie, a 72-year-old man, was fatally shot on January 28, 2025, in Gadsden, Alabama. McKenzie, along with his wife, Darla McKenzie, 68, was visiting from Roswell, Georgia, when the incident occurred. Authorities responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on Coats Bend Circle around 12:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
