On the evening of February 1, 2025, 17-year-old African American male Jekobi Douglas was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred around 8:26 p.m. in the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard, near Carmichael Road and Interstate 85.
