In the early evening of Saturday, February 1, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the night on the 1200 block of Eastern Boulevard in Montgomery, Alabama, leaving a community in mourning. Seventeen-year-old Jekobi Douglas, a male resident of Montgomery, was found at the scene with a fatal gunshot wound.
