On the evening of Saturday, February 15, 2025, at approximately 10:14 PM, Montgomery police responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Nottingham Court, located in the Forest Hills neighborhood near Perry Hill Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered Reginald McCray, a 33-year-old Black male resident of Montgomery, suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
