Brenda Kaye Thompson, a 36-year-old woman, was abducted and murdered on October 10, 1991. She was last seen desperately trying to escape, kicking at the windshield of Kenneth McDuff's pickup truck. McDuff, a notorious serial killer, was known for his violent crimes, particularly against women. Thompson's body was not recovered until October 3, 1998, when authorities located her remains in a heavily wooded area approximately nine miles north of Waco, Texas.
