John Bartlett, a 16-year-old white male, was one of the confirmed victims of serial killer David Edward Maust. Maust, who had a history of targeting teenage boys, committed multiple murders across different states and countries. His known victims include James McClister in Germany in 1974, Donald Jones in Illinois in 1981, and three teenagers in Hammond, Indiana, in 2003: Michael Dennis James Raganyi and Nick James.
