Annie Lucille Dedmond, a 33-year-old Caucasian woman, was tragically murdered on May 20, 1967, in Union County, South Carolina. Her nude body was discovered on Jerusalem Road, a rural area in the county. Dedmond, who was married to Roger Zane Dedmond, was initially believed to have been killed by her husband.
