In what initially appeared to be a suicide, the tragic death of Dorothy Davis, a 26-year-old woman, in Starkville, Michigan, on April 16, 1987, was soon revealed to be a homicide. The subsequent investigation into her death uncovered a much more sinister story, leading to the arrest of a man who would confess to a string of killings across multiple states.
