In the spring of 2006, the life of 23-year-old Tonya Jo Goble-Studer, a female, came to a brutal and tragic end in the small community of Union Pier, Michigan. Seeking refuge from a volatile and abusive marriage, she had moved in with her mother, Vicki Dewey, and her stepfather.
