Carrie Lynn Yoder, a 26-year-old white female, was a third-year graduate student at Louisiana State University studying biological sciences with a focus on ecology. She was passionate about preserving Louisiana's wetlands. Tragically, she was murdered on March 13, 2003, in Iberville Parish, Louisiana. Her remains were later cremated, and her ashes were scattered along Weeks Bay in Alabama.
