Kimanesha Carter, a 28-year-old African American woman from Natchitoches, Louisiana, was tragically killed on March 17, 2022. She was found shot to death in the back seat of a car following a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of Amulet Street, where Natchitoches police officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area. Kimanesha had been shot multiple times and died at the scene. Another woman in the car was also shot but survived.
