In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Natchitoches, Louisiana, the life of 28-year-old Latrice Thomas, a Black female, was tragically cut short. On May 24, 2020, at approximately 11:06 p.m., officers from the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of Jackson Drive following reports of a shooting.
