Brenda Kaye Jones, a 14-year-old girl from Galveston, Texas, was last seen on July 1, 1971, walking to a local hospital to visit her aunt. Tragically, her body was discovered the following day, floating in Galveston Bay near Pelican Island. Brenda's death was one of several cases linked to the infamous Texas Killing Fields, an area along the Interstate Highway 45 corridor where numerous young women and girls were found murdered or went missing over the decades.
