Suzanne “Suzie” Bowers, a 12-year-old girl from Galveston County, Texas, disappeared on May 21, 1977. Her remains were discovered nearly two years later, on March 25, 1979, in a field near Alta Loma, Galveston County. When her body was found, there appeared to be gunshot holes in her skull.

Her case remains unsolved, and she is believed to be one of the victims associated with the infamous Texas Killing Fields, an area along the Interstate Highway 45 corridor southeast of Houston whe ...
