Suzanne “Suzie” Bowers, a 12-year-old girl from Galveston County, Texas, disappeared on May 21, 1977. Her remains were discovered nearly two years later, on March 25, 1979, in a field near Alta Loma, Galveston County. When her body was found, there appeared to be gunshot holes in her skull.
