In the summer of 1993, the body of 27-year-old Ray Bostick, an African American male, was found discarded in a rural area of Chesapeake, Virginia. An unemployed truck driver, Bostick was last seen alive three days prior in downtown Norfolk. On June 28, a passerby discovered his nude body lying on the side of Cook's Mill Road.
