On June 28, 1993, the body of 27-year-old Ray Bostick, an African American male, was discovered in a rural area of Chesapeake, Virginia. His nude body was found lying on his back on the right side of Cook's Mill Road, with his left arm stretched above his head and his legs extending into the weeds along the road's shoulder.
