A 22-year-old man, Mikal Nichols, lost his life in the early morning hours of June 2, 2018, the victim of a double shooting in Chesapeake, Virginia. The incident unfolded around 1:18 a.m. in the 2000 block of Linster Street, a residential area that was suddenly shattered by the sound of gunfire. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered two individuals who had been shot.
