Jaylen Johnson, a 16-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on August 20, 2015. Jaylen was found dead in the backyard of a home located in the 300 block of West 31st Street around 6:40 p.m. on that fateful day. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene after several gunshots were heard in the area. Despite the efforts of first responders, Jaylen succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
