Betty Jo Monroe, a 28-year-old woman from Boyd, Texas, was tragically murdered on October 12, 1985. Monroe, who had been living in Amarillo, was known to travel with a motorcycle gang under the name Betty Jo Montana. On the night of her death, she encountered Ricky Lee Green, a serial killer with a history of gruesome crimes.
