Glenn E. Simley, a 27-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on July 7, 2013, in Columbus, Ohio. He was the passenger in a car that was shot at around 10:45 p.m. on Oakwood Avenue. The driver of the car, Martavious Arnold, also died from his injuries shortly after the shooting. The car continued to drive until it came to a stop on a sidewalk at Forest Street. Simley was pronounced dead at 2:26 a.m. on July 8, 2013, at Grant Medical Center.
