Nancy Ayala, a 32-year-old mother of four from Mesquite, Texas, was tragically shot on September 1, 2024, at her apartment on Franklin Drive. The incident occurred around 3 a.m., with some of her children present during the attack. Ayala sustained critical injuries and was immediately transported to Baylor Hospital, where she underwent multiple surgeries.
