On July 14, 1991, a violent domestic incident occurred in a Detroit, Michigan home resulting in the death of Tonya Clayton Green. The young Black female, who was six months pregnant at the time, was attacked by her husband, Gregory Vicente Green, in a kitchen confrontation that escalated into a brutal stabbing.
