On October 9, 2003, the body of 45-year-old African American woman Johnnie Mae Williams was discovered in a wooded area of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Williams, a divorced mother of three, had a history of drug addiction and prostitution. She had been reported missing by a family member prior to the discovery of her body.
