John Szyc, a 19-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on January 20, 1977, in Norwood Park Township, Cook County, Illinois. His death was a result of the heinous crimes committed by John Wayne Gacy, one of the most infamous serial killers in American history. Gacy, known as the 'Killer Clown' due to his public performances as a clown, was responsible for the rape, torture, and murder of at least 33 young men and boys between 1972 and 1978.
