Jason Gedzius, a one-year-old male, passed away on September 5, 1980. His death was initially attributed to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome , a diagnosis that was common at the time for unexplained infant deaths. Jason was the fourth child of Deborah Anne Booe Narbone Gedzius, later known as Debbie Fornuto. His death occurred six days after his first birthday, adding to a series of tragic losses within the family.
