Richard Arthur Wayne Jr., a 17-year-old White male, was born on September 29, 1965, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He disappeared on March 20, 1983, while traveling from California to his home in Montpelier, Indiana. His partially buried remains were discovered on December 7, 1983, by a hunter near U.S. Route 40 in Hendricks County, Indiana. The cause of death was determined to be homicide.
