In the spring of 1990, the life of Anthony Keith Thurman, a 24-year-old African American man, was tragically cut short in Portland, Oregon. On April 5th, his existence was brutally ended when he was beaten to death with a pipe. The grim discovery of his body was made later that month, found discarded under the cold concrete of a freeway overpass.
