On June 22, 2001, Irene Erla Martin Krapf, a 79-year-old Caucasian woman, passed away in Fountain Hill, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Born on November 16, 1921, in Grier City, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John Adolph Martin and Martha K. Ewald Martin. Irene was married to Norman Leonard Krapf in 1943, and together they had a family that included siblings Edward Adolph Martin, Elsie G. Martin Arner, and Bernard J. Martin.
