Richard Alan Kepner, a 19-year-old male, tragically lost his life under circumstances that later revealed he was a victim of murder. On November 15, 1972, Kepner disappeared while attempting to call his fiancée from a payphone in Houston, Texas. His remains were discovered buried at High Island Beach, and it wasn't until September 1983 that they were positively identified. The conflicting dates surrounding his death, including November 12 and November 15, have been speculated upon.
