Fredrick "Bopee" Appling, a 53-year-old African American man from Colbert, GA, was tragically found dead on May 10, 2021. His body was discovered lying on the road in front of his home on Farm Road, a rural neighborhood situated between Colbert and Comer. The initial discovery was made by his nephew, who was driving down the road and had to swerve to avoid the body.
