Richard Martin, a 47-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on May 18, 2015, in Houston, Texas. Officer Martin was intentionally struck and killed by a vehicle while he was setting up spike strips at the intersection of North Kirkwood Road and St. Mary's Lane during a high-speed vehicle pursuit.
