Sheliah McKinzie, a 38-year-old African American woman, was found dead on September 2, 2004, in Kansas City, Missouri. Her body was discovered in a garage along with another badly decomposed victim. The remains were among six bodies found in an impoverished neighborhood frequented by drug addicts and prostitutes.
