A domestic dispute that had been simmering for days culminated in the tragic death of 24-year-old Jaida Perdue, a female resident of Kansas City, Missouri. On July 15, 2025, just before noon, police were summoned to an apartment in the 8700 block of Countryshire Lane, where they discovered Perdue with a fatal gunshot wound to her head. Emergency medical responders pronounced her dead at the scene.
