Sharon Denise Moore, a 25-year-old African American woman, was found dead on August 18, 1988. Her death was part of a series of murders that took place in Memphis, Tennessee. Sharon was one of the victims of James Antonio Barnes, a 44-year-old deliveryman who confessed to the serial murders of three prostitutes and the shooting of two transvestites. Barnes was arrested following a task force investigation into the shootings.
