Marnesha Scales, a 19-year-old woman from Memphis, Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed on September 27, 2016. She was sitting in a car with two friends in the 5000 block of Arbor Lake Drive when three armed men approached them, attempting to rob them. As Scales tried to drive away, one of the suspects opened fire, hitting her multiple times. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she did not survive.
